En Garde 1.0

En Garde is a fantastic looking swash buckling adventure from 8 student developers hailing from France, although the game is set in and seems to feature Spanish voice actors.

Set in the 17^th century you play as the female lead character who has returned home the only living member of her family and found her Palace has been seized by rather unfriendly people and it is your job to take back what is rightfully yours using your trusty sword a combination of cunning and using the scenery around you.

The game is all set in one open level and it takes about 30 minutes to play through from start to finish but it looks stunning however to really get a good experience out of En Garde you are going to need a powerful computer and a compatible controller.

The great thing about this all adventure game is how good it looks, although short it looks and feels like a triple A game but it is completely free and we are hoping there will be more to come from these clearly talented developers.
