Garbageboi 1.0

Garbageboi is a brightly colored game with an uplifting soundtrack where you play as a living, breathing and walking garbage canister that must run around the streets trying to collect as much trash as possible but without getting run over from the bustling traffic which zooms past and makes the act of crossing the road quite a difficult task, you must also avoid the pedestrians on the sidewalk from walking in to you, or from spotting the fact that you’re a trash can which is alive, if you get too close to a human with your little trash can legs visible and stay there for too long you will get spotted and it’s another way for you to lose at the game.

Garbageboi is certainly an interesting concept of a game but it can also be a bit clunky to control and it’s incredibly challenging to try and collect as much litter as you can before you get hit by a car, human or spotted by someone, if you stop moving though you will curl up inside your trash can again and hope that you don’t get spotted however even in this form if someone should walk in to you it will still be game over.

Whilst the game is a unique and interesting idea it also felt a bit unpolished and like something was missing, it should certainly appeal to younger gamers though with the bright graphics and happy music and hopefully it also sends a good message in making sure you pick your trash up after you!
