Jump off the World 1.0

Jump off the World is a city building simulation game, where you can create houses, farms and barracks throoughout the little world and try to choose good strategic positioning off them so that you can gain more coins to make place more buildings and hopefully make your city thrive, however it is not without peril as during the night you are likely to face viking pillagers from other worlds and if your little world doesn't have suitable protection you may well find that your world is soon destroyed.

This is a very basic simulation game and it is worth bearing in mind it was built for a game jam and is still in an early alpha stage, however there is a lot of flaws with Jump off the World, such as there is nothing telling you on the screen how much money you have to spend on placing properties, also the barracks which are necessary to have to save you from attack often don't become unlocked before the first attack meaning you have to restart whenever this happens, there is no clear indication of which building will earn you more coins, and it is very unclear whether you need to click on each building to action for instance we noticed clicking on the barracks would give you a soldier symbol but no soldiers ever seemed to come out of them and with only three tyes of buildings to be placed (houses, farms and barracks) the game soon becomes rather repetitive.

Whilst there are some great free city building simulation games, this is probably one that only the die-hards who want to try every one of these types of games out will play.
