Midnight Shift 1.0

Midnight Shift is a short horror game set in an old warehouse where you play as the security guard or night watchman and must try to make your way out of the warehouse.

And just to make things extra creepy this is a warehouse that is full of mannequins and there is rain and thunder lashing down outside as you try to search for a key that will allow you to exit the building, and what’s that the mannequins seem to be moving each time you leave the room?

Whilst Midnight Shift doesn’t exactly excel graphics wise, often looking grainy and a bit rushed (to be fair this was the developers first attempt at using the Unity engine) it does a very good job of creating a tense and scary atmosphere where even though there is no obvious enemy you are left with an overwhelming sense of impending dread and that something bad is about to happen, whether it’s one of the mannequins coming to life or something more sinister….

The whole game can be played through in around 10 minutes but it’s definitely a worth-while experience especially for horror and thriller fans.
