Flash games were the precursors to many parts of the gaming industry today. The creativity and willingness to experiment has translated over to the indie games industry, many design elements that are used in AAA games today were first observed in flash games, and the casual nature of many flash games has translated over to the mobile game industry. Planet Noevo did survival and building before Minecraft did.

This game starts off with you crashing onto an alien planet and calling for help. You need to survive ten days on your own before the nearest colony can come pick you up. You will move around with WASD and aim with the mouse, and fight off the hostile indigenous animals.

There is a day and night cycle where the aliens become much more aggressive at night. During the day, you can scavenge resources by standing on a ground tile and not moving. You can then build up walls, turrets, and other defenses at your base to prepare for night. You come armed with a ton of different items, most of which you have to build with resources, and an XP model where you can distribute stat points to make you move faster, dig faster, or do more damage.
